STEEL BILLET

The raw material of billet iron is scrap iron. After these scraps are melted in arc furnaces, they are turned into liquid steel. After melting, it is placed in crucible furnaces and alloying process is carried out to make it suitable for the desired quality. Billet Iron is transferred to continuous casting machines after reaching the desired quality. Then, it is turned into semi-finished steel billets in desired dimensions. After this stage, it is sent to quality control and after approval, billet iron is sent to rolling mills for the production of Steel products.
